Tonight we had a fun game night with friends! So I decided to just do something cute but comfy! I wanted to include 3 pieces I feel are a must for casual look!

We played 2000s Trivial Pursuit, I thought it was going to be super hard but we managed to get through it before sun up! This coming off our 90s trivia night a coupl nights a go. Side note, we lost 90s trivia. We started so strong too! I’m mentioning all of this because I wanted to share.. 1. My casual look for tonight and 2. How important it is that we make time for things like game night. My husband and I have pretty busy schedules but we’ve been making it a point lately to have at least one day off together, usually Wednesday’s (see my first post ever about Mondays).  We’ve been going to a couple local places to play trivia or we’ll go listen to karaoke and have some drinks, sometimes we just chill in the house and watch a movie. The point is, I love that time we have together. If we didn’t do it, I feel like we’re just seeing each other when it’s time for bed or just in passing. So make time for your significant others! Even if it’s just because you wanna put on a cute outfit for the night!

I went with my most comfortable sweatshirt for game night and my black high rise KanCan jeans (I could wear them everyday…sometimes I feel like I do). I’m a junkie for oversized shirts or sweatshirts, you’ll have to play around them to make them your own.  Some times you can just leave it be, but for me I’m the queen of the front tuck. I feel like it gives me a little more shape if I front tuck everything oversized. If you want to make it a little more fun or flirty, just pop it off your shoulder. I love this look because the type of shoes you could wear are endless. I went with my Steve Madden tennis shoes because it casualed it down a little, but it would look so cute paired with an espadrille or chunky heel.
